Through the Tsunami Relief Fund, the Foundation disbursed RM4.2 million to survivors and families of the 2004 Tsunami disaster in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Acheh and Medan.
RM1.4 million was distributed to fishermen in Malaysia while RM500,000 was used to build homes for survivors in Sri Lanka. Presently two orphanages costing RM1.2 million are being set up in Acheh and Medan.
