“南洋商报大专奖学金计划”只供25岁以下的马来西亚教育文凭考试（SPM）、马来西亚高级教育文凭考试（STPM）及独中统考文凭考试（UEC）优秀生，或其他具备同等资格的优秀生申请。
Applications for “Nanyang Scholarship” are only open to applicants below
25 years old and possess good results in SPM/ A-Level/ STPM/ UEC or other
equivalent qualifications.
奖学金分为全免、半免及减免三种类。有关奖学金并不是由《南洋商报》直接供给，而且不涉及现金，大学/学院只提供名额予申请者，奖学金是以直接扣除学费的形式享有。
The scholarship shall be in the form of full/ half/ partial fee waiver
for the whole duration of the particular course. The awards are not
directly offered by “Nanyang Siang Pau” and are not cash award but
will be in the form of tuition fees waivers for the academic courses
to be offered by the participating Colleges/ Universities with direct
deduction from the tuition fees. |
各大学/学院提供课程各具不同的入学资格，申请者可直接向有关学院查询详情。
Different courses in Colleges / Universities have different entry
requirements. Enquiry for further details can be obtained directly
from the participating colleges or universities. |
申请者不得以预考成绩申请有关奖学金，每人只能申请一个名额。
Trial examination results do not qualify for the scholarship award.
Each person is only entitled to one application. |
申请者必须达到学院规定的成绩标准，才可在第二年继续享有奖学金，同时必须实践良好行为，并跟随学院/大学所规定一切规则和法规。
Applicant must meet the minimum requirement set by the Colleges/ Universities
in order to be eligible for the second year’s scholarship awards and
the recipient is required to abide all the rules and regulations set
by the participating College/ University at all time and is expected
to conduct himself/herself in a respectable manner. |
提供奖学金的大学/学院及《南洋商报》没有义务在学生修读期限届满后，延长有关奖学金受惠期。
The participating College/University and “Nanyang Siang Pau” are not
obligated to extend the award beyond the existing academic period.

申请者需采用“南洋商报大专奖学金”申请表格，并且附上就读学校核准的成绩复印本、个人近照及家长收入证明（例：所得税报表“J-Form”）。
The applicant must complete the prescribed “Nanyang Scholarship” application
form and accompanied by certified true copies of last examination
results (recognized by school), applicants recent passport sized photograph
and parent’s pay slip (such as Inland Revenue ‘J’ Form). |
“南洋商报大专奖学金”将以申请者成绩与家境概况作为遴选标准。申请必须活跃于运动和课外活动，并附上课外活动证书。若有虚报，奖学金资格将被取消。
The selection shall be based on the applicants’ examination results,
family background and applicants’ extra-curricular activities（attached
with extra-curricular certificate）.If at any time the information
given herein is found to be untrue, false or misleading due to willful
neglect, Nanyang Siang Pau shall be at their discretion, withdraw
the qualifications. |
通过基本要求的申请者将由大学/学院本身举行面试。在面试期间，奖学金入选者必须提呈正本的文凭。
The respective College/ University shall interview the applicants
who pass the basic requirements. The applicants must produce original
copies of the examination results and all other relevant documents
during the interview. |
大学/学院遴选团选出的成果是最后的决定，任何有关的投诉，恕不处理。
The Colleges/ Universities selection committee’s decisions in all
matters pertaining to the selection of the scholarship award are final
and no appeal, inquiry or correspondence will be entertained. |
申请截止日期：马来西亚高级教育文凭考试放榜后第三个星期六。
The closing date for application is after the third week of Saturday
of the STPM result release. |
